Chilled / Fresh Semen Fees 2008

The insemination fee is £250 plus VAT. This includes:

• Reproductive examination of the mare.
• Endometrial swab and smear and associated Laboratory fees
• All routine gynaecological examinations, supply and administration of hormonal drugs to control ovulation, if necessary, to ensure insemination is performed at the optimal time with the best chance of success.
• Insemination
• Post ovulation check
• Ultrasound pregnancy examinations to embryo / heartbeat detection

If the mare is not pregnant after the first insemination, then subsequent insemination fees will be reduced to £200 per cycle.

The fee does not include:

• The cost of the semen / stud fees
• CEM swabs and EVA blood samples
• Courier fees for shipment of semen to the Centre
• Accommodation fees
• Sedation if required
• Twin Reduction
• Caslicks operation
• Further laboratory fees as required
• Treatment of Endometritis including Uterine lavage
• Treatment of non-reproductive medical problems
• Investigation of chronic infertility problems
• Treatment of endometritis and any other procedures not specified as being included in the package above

Examinations at the Centre for routine studwork will incur no visit fee.

Examinations at all other premises will incur North Park Veterinary Groups standard fees.
