From the M5 junction 31, take the A30. Come off at Whiddon Down services, take the first right just after the services (before the Post Inn pub now as the junction has been altered). Stay on that road for around six miles to the end. Go straight over at crossroads, up the hill into North Tawton, and straight over the mini roundabout. Go past Spar then bear right and turn right at the clock tower (the narrow street between the town hall and Natwest). Follow the road for around two miles until you get to Farleys Grave crossroads where there is a tall radio mast on the right. Turn right and drive for just under a mile. Newton Stud is the large entrance on the right before the big crossroads.
